I've been enjoying this quite a bit for the past week. I couldn't find a thread on this game in the first 5 pages so I made one, if there's already one, happy to move this into that thread. Leave a comment here if you're interested. So I though of making a call out here to see if anyone with the game is interested in doing coop using OCUK discord to coordinate and have some fun with the game. Alas, cause it's on Epic most of the online friends I have won't get it, I did try public games and although a few have been really good, there are more and more people that simply grief (running amok, crashing into things, even a few people I caught using their winches to pull over trailers or objective making them near impossible to finish. The biggest fun however is doing this online with friends, 4 player coop.

It one of the few games that got me really hooked, I feel its a really good balance between difficulty/frustration and rewards.

But once I got a few upgrade, better vehicles and got more experienced on how to drive these trucks, the frustrations turned into enjoyment. Which doesnt feel right and is from physics point of view simply silly.I have been playing it since it's release and I just couldn't get into it for the first 4-5 hours, in fact, I often got frustrated by it and was close to not bother anymore. Many Season 1 and 2 US vehicles have overloaded front axles. It has a strong influence on truck performance.

And those who know how to edit a mod - play with the "longitudinal" center of gravity. Its level is really good enough for that. I'd really like to see the SD114 as a late Alaska truck and a "new one" getting a US Modern Engine (from M916) as well as access to OHD tires. Its stock value is 0.2, which is IMHO too low (I'd say 0.35 start to feel OK). For SD114 - added two more suspensions with higher damping factor. Stock suspensions are the "copy & paste" vanilla. tires and AWD/DIFF influence your fuel consumption and performance. Have fun with testing and understanding how e.g. Suggested track with cargo - use the mentioned proving grounds, see screenshot. Or a hybrid as an SD114 with "russian" OHD tires as well as US weak US engine as well as medium (US/UOD) tires with a US_MODERN or strong russian engine.

Or an SD114 with an RU engine and its tiresets with Auto-AWD/DIFF.

So you can build a Voron AE with a US OLD engine and tires including manual AWD and Difflock. * All four trucks have access to the the same engines: The best US_OLD with 145K, a US_MODERN with 192K and the RU_OLD_HEAVY of the Voron with 200K. * All four trucks have access to the same set of tires (copy & paste vanilla) Use the "Garage" menu to change even wheels "on the fly". As its made for testing, no shop pictures or similar convenience stuff. Each set has either AUTO-AWD and DIFF and the other MANUAL AWD/DIFF. This mod consists of four test Trucks, two SD114 and two VORON AE. money does not matter at all on proving grounds. If you do not know how to activate the proving grounds:. As the better wheels with a way better weight distribution is the key difference between the SD114 and the Voron AE. SD114 treated similar with way more refinement especially with suspensions and a lot better weight distribution. " Russian Tucks" a bit more tweaked (especially Suspensions, wheels as well as unlocks. As there are no trucks which are available with UOD (100kg) and OHD (200kg) tires as well as with manual AWD/DIFF versus "auto-everything." So its meant to be a "explore the game mechanics" mod. Its a demonstrator for the impact of some parameters as tiresets, engine power and a bit "suspension settings".

DO NOT USE for regular playthrough, may be removed. There was a discussion in the official forum about the performance of the vanilla SD114 (my impression: some "heap of a brown mass") and the Voron AE.
